We give you a complimentary set of retainers after treatment is finished. The bone holding the teeth are continually changing which allows the teeth to shift. Retainers will keep your teeth stable after treatment, so get used to wearing them for as long as you want your teeth straight (Dr. Han still wears his retainers every night!)

Contrary to popular belief, many studies show that wisdom teeth do not contribute to teeth shifting. We will routinely ask our friendly dentists and surgeons to take the wisdom teeth out but not because we think the teeth will shift. That doesn’t mean that teeth will be stable forever – teeth will shift throughout your life as the bone holding the teeth continually changes.
